Kindred Spirits is an adventure puzzle game created in Unity. It’s a group project for which I have mostly been involved in UI, art, level design, and audio design.
The story follows a girl trapped in a strange world. To escape she’ll need the help of her spiritual companion, a small dog. Their bond is both a strength and a weakness. The two are bound, only able to survive apart for a short time. Traversing the labyrinth will take all their courage and put each of their unique skills to the test.
The initial concept was based around the concept of two playable characters, one big, one small. The game mechanics and world were all built on top of that core difference.
